Qualified Peer Coordinator (QPC)
Thank you for your interest in helping others with your lived/living experience with a mental health condition.
To begin, it is important to fill out the form below to initiate the registration process for the Apostles of Life program as a Qualified Peer Coordinator (QPC). QPC may only offer supervised work experience to those Peer Support Specialist (PSS) that the QPC has agreed to supervise and for whom the PSS has completed their registration process in the Apostles of Life program. It is best to wait to register as a QPC until there is confirmation that a PSS is committed to the duration of program supervision completion, so that both the QPC and the PSS can register their site and supervision for the Apostles of Life program.
Required documentation to register as a Qualified Peer Coordinator is as follows:
Attestation of faith as a Christian
Qualification as a doctrinal overseer per 1 Timothy 3:1-12 (letter of recommendation from the QPC’s faith leader or appropriate professional peer)
Attestation of lived/living experience with a mental health condition (in recovery)
Verification of necessary educational and training requirements to implement supervision for Peer Support Specialist (PSS)
Verification of certification and/or licensure as an eligible mental health service provider
